Yes, believe it or not, the idea of manifesting something without understanding what is actually going on in your reality can not only hold you back but take your own power away from you.

WHAT? Abby, you talk about this stuff all the dang time what do you mean?

Hear me out fam,

everything we experience is a manifestation, we are living in a constant state of

manifestations, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

The mainstream new-age idea of "manifestation" seems to be a huge buzzword, and yes I do use it all the time. When I refer to manifesting something, I am referring to consciously creating reality. The byproduct of conscious creation is a manifestation of reality or an event that you prefer. A common misconception I see people who start getting interested in the idea of manifesting something is by making it some "pie in the sky" idea separate from yourself when in reality all you are ever experiencing are aspects of yourself reflected back to you.

So Should I Stop "Manifesting"?

Not at all! But you may benefit from changing your approach. First of all, understanding and owning the fact you are creating every aspect is key. Stop putting the idea of manifesting something on a pedestal, because you're literally only ever doing that anyway. The idea of "manifesting" as we speak about it today is the act of consciously aligning with a more favorable reality, which you can get really good at. But it's not (in my experience) until you take radical responsibility for your reality that you get good at creating it (go listen to my podcast episode "I manifested a car accident, now what?" for a little more on that).

You are creating your reality with your consistent focus and beliefs. Those pretty much dictate everything you are coloring your world with. So keep that in mind.
