Manifestation is Not About Producing Outcomes

But rather, it's about taking ownership of your own role in everything that is reflected back to you.

We Don't Control Outcomes


We may get intuitive insights about things that will or are likely to happen, but overall I don't believe we are controlling the specific outcomes of what happens in our reality.

We are, however, controlling the energy, the essence, and the vibration that we are seeing reflected back to us.

I like to use the idea of, we are the artist and the art, we are picking the colors of the painting that is our reality, but we are not picking what is being painted.


So if Conscious Creation isn't about Outcomes

what is it about?


Consciously creating reality means taking radical responsibility for what is showing up and pivoting from that. When you really start understanding how things operate in the reality you live in you can create a really epic life for yourself, and it isn't going to matter to you what shows up. Because when you start prioritizing yourself, how you feel, and what feels good to you to do, the best things start showing up in your reality. Things you never even could've imagined. Sometimes the Universe has better things in store for us than we have planned for ourselves.

You are creating your reality, you just aren't creating how things show up- you create "the vibe".


The Key is Being Flexible


Because things don't always, or ever(?) go as we exactly plan or think they will play out. Being able to roll with what shows up and not push every aspect that isn't exactly what you want is what makes navigating what is happening a lot easier. Is it an easy thing to do? Not at first. But over time it does get easier to respond to your reality and not blindly react to it.

When you react to something you are operating on autopilot- you are generally operating from your subconscious belief system. If you have the subconscious (or conscious) belief that things don't work out for you, that you are unworthy, that contrast will make you unsafe, that "good things" are hard to come by etc., you will operate from that lack-based mindset. By doing that you put yourself in the vibrational frequency of lack, of not enough-ness, of unfairness, etc. and things look yucky.


The Best thing about Beliefs is


You can always change them, they are not permanent. But a lot of the beliefs we hold today were programmed into us between the ages of 1-7. A lot of what we saw in our childhood has shaped the beliefs we hold today. Seeing your parent struggle with money, seeing the beauty standards in magazines and tv, or experiences like getting separated from your parents at a fair and having a massive public meltdown screaming "I'm lost" for about 12 seconds until they appeared (I was 6 when that happened), can have a huge effect on what you believe about yourself and the world you live in.

To first change a belief you have to pinpoint how you see the world, in an honest way. Once you know what you believe about the world you can start shifting ones that don't support your most abundant self.


How do you shift a Belief?


There are a few different ways you can shift beliefs. My personal favorite way is using subliminal audio when I go to sleep. Once I get to the root of a belief system I ask myself; what are things that I believe about money, love, life, whatever, that are more positive that I can strengthen? Using affirmations you do not believe are true at all will not help you. You have to start with baby steps and work your way up. Then I put these in a brown noise track and listen to them while I am asleep. This is when your subconscious mind is most active so it helps thoughts and beliefs stick and get stronger. It won't take long for you to notice you are starting to think those very affirmations on autopilot. That you wake up ready for the day. That things are really working in your favor.

Please remember I did not start out in life automatically believing I was an abundant, worthy person. I was absolutely the most negative, angry, pessimistic, hate-the-world sort of child into my early 20s. It took time but once I started the work it became very easy for me to look at a belief, ask myself if that is supportive, and if I really really want to continue living my life believing in that. Then take the steps to shift it. So if I can do this, I am sure you can too.



To Summarize


When you stop needing things to look a different way and start prioritizing your feeling state and beliefs, things will start to look better than you could have imagined. What you believe about yourself and the reality you live in dictates the flavor (color, vibe) of what shows up to you. Shifting beliefs isn't a difficult process but you do have to be honest with yourself in order to do it.
